Rack Shack BBQ

Keith Sr, Keith Hittner Jr and store manager Elliot opened a new restaurant on March 10 just across the Eagan border at 2925 Cliff Road in Burnsville. Their new barbecue spot offers tender, 14 hour long "slow and low" smoked beef, pork, turkey & chicken. My yummy lunch included a delicious pulled pork sandwich with traditional BBQ sauce, zippy "Claire slaw," corn bread and a glass of water since I'm not a pop guzzler. Mrs Hittner visited with me during my lunch.

mmhhh... yummy. Sieht alles wirklich sehr, sehr lecker aus. Wenn die grosse Distanz nicht wäre, dann könnte ich auch in Versuchung geraten.. Greetings from Stuttgart to Eagan.

Oh, Leif! Just when we decided to stop eating meat!! We'll see how long this lasts since we've been trying to do this for sometime now. Back home again and already missing Santa Fe. Come visit me at BOTH blogs!

Gosh, I'm already hungry! I am actually cooking right now, a spanish version of a polish version of a hungarian goulach. Seriously! With sauerkraut and chorizo, and a little red Rioja wine.

I'm not sure I could trust BBQ from Minnesota. ;-)

But this doesn't look too bad.

You call it "pulled pork"? That sounds funny. :D
You can keep the pork but I'll take some cornbread. Imagine living several decades without it.

Looks yummy!I think the best thing to right now is to leave your blog and find some food in the fridge or I'll grab my wallet and look for a nice resto. You made me hungry.

I find that a cool glass of water works very well after a good BBQ. Anyway, the place looks quite nice. The restaurant looks simple, and thanks to that, you can peacefully enjoy the meals served to you. It's a place for eating, no doubt about that, and loving what you're eating.
