Lakes of Eagan series #1

If one hikes down behind the Eagan Art House and Patrick Eagan Park off Lexington Avenue, then one would find this small lake. No sign proclaims the name of this lake. Any name ideas?

Uh-oh, my brain's just shut down. Can't think of anything at all. With or without a name, it's pretty. :)

Out of ideas, but love the serenity of the lake. Oh, how about Lake Serene!

"Lake la Vache"?

By the way, where's the snow? Mosquitos?

Ice Skating Lake.

Looks like it would be a nice place to spin during the winter months.

I think "Leif Lake" or "Lake Leif" has a nice ring to it...

Lake Lexington? Artists Lake? This is a nice little secluded spot for an afternoon picnic, I'd say!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I look forward to seeing more lakes of Eagan.

Lago Maggiore?
By the way, there is a pink dress waiting for you to pick it up in Stavanger.

Before reading the comment I thought "Lake Leif", but the name must be "The Lake".

I would have said "Lake Leif" too or Leif's Lake :-)

I think "Beautiful Allison Lake" is a lovely name for that lake.

I can tell but from this angle it looks like a footmark to me. Maybe 'Left Foot Lake'? :D

Nope, no ideas, but it's already nice to find a place that has no name. 'No Name Lake'??

It would be nice to have a lake to name...

The Lake in Patrick Eagan Park is actually named McCarthy Lake for the McCarthy Family who used to own the property. Pat McCarthy still owns the farm on the far side of the lake from Patrick Eagan Park (Patrick being the guy Eagan was named for).
