Rainy, grey & cold

I snapped this monochromatic photo out the back door of our office building this morning. It's just 39 degrees Fahrenheit and we've had lots of rain! Luckily, Jacob of Ocala, Florida, where it's 80 degrees and sunny, felt sorry for Allison and me and has invited us to visit him and Lois Anne at their Floridian villa. Great that Jacob is sending us plane tickets, picking us up at the airport and wining and dining us for a week. Being Jacob's favorite fellow CDP blogger and Jacob's favorite female commenting friend has its perks!

  2. Ich liebe Regen und gehe gerne bei Regen spazieren. Oder wenn man nachts im Bett liegt und der Regen klappert so an den Fensterscheiben...toll!
Viel Spass für euch alle! Und pass auf dich auf!

  3. Unfortunately, it is only about 65 degrees today and thunderstorming in Ocala...more rain tomorrow. Then nice and sunny for the weekend.

Methinks, however, due to your acute desire to desert Minneesota and it's clammy climate, you had what I'd call a "wishful-thinking" dream last night.

Not that we wouldn't want to do all those things you said but we're very busy right now...and I just can't take the time to pick y'all up at the Orlando airport, drive 100 miles back here and wine and dine you. I've just too many appointments on the golf course. And Lois Anne has too many appointments running and at the spa/gym.

Therefore, your dream ain't a-gonna come true for awhile (this lifetime) so you'll just have to head to your friendly Starbucks and whine and dine there!

It's too bad you had to tell Allison about your wishful-thinking dream, though. I'm sure she has enough problems working in the same office with you. And she seems like too nice a young lady to continually disappoint!

Perhaps, because of the fraud you've perpetrated, you need to take her to lunch every day next week!

  5. I guess Jacob forgot to mention that I happen to be his favorite fellow CDP blogger! By the way it was rainy and gray in this part of Florida today too, but not too cold.

  7. We can do with a little cooler weather. Will you send us plane tickets so you can wine and dine us in Eagan?

    :)

Cold, maybe, but your photo is beautiful, Leif!

  12. Hello Leif, Is the dream a logical consequence of your addiction to coffee?

  13. Great photo! The bare trees add some drama effect on it. Am smiling here, reading your post and Jacob's comment and others comment too :)

  14. What a coincidence! Jacob sent me tickets too, so Bibi and I will meet you there. ;)

This photo of yours could have been taken here, except exchange 'rain' for 'snow'.
