WAITING for a commuter bus

At 7:30 in the morning, these people were waiting for the commuter bus to downtown St. Paul from one of Eagan's "Park & Ride" sites.

Dear friend, I think I can say it's "my life"! LOL
I can explain...In fact I take at least 4 buses everyday!I need to be patient and sometimes I need to wait a lot!
Thanks my ipod to help me dealing it! :)

By the looks of the approaching bus, it doesn't appear that WAITING here is an annoying task. Timely arrival of public transportation (and its availability) is terrific when it occurs.

je trouve que c'est une bonne idée, les voitures restent en dehors de la ville. On devrait y penser en France

Commuting is such a time drain.
Many in Jerusalem use their time on the bus to read the morning prayers in the prayerbook.

I think Park and Rides are great. Need 'em everywhere.

Great choice for the theme day. Park and rides are an excellent invention!

Waiting is better than driving in the traffic I guess. Nice shot for Theme Day!

Why don't they ask the waiter for some coffee??? Makes waiting a bit more comfy. I'm sure the guy in the back is a waiter in disguise!

Soon the waiting will be a lot colder! Good shot for the theme.
I love the car in the previous post. It would be fun to drive that.

Perfect for the theme, Leif. Modern life is so full of waiting, eh?

Why does it always seem such a long time when you are at the bus stop

7:30 in the morning there are a lot parked already - doesn't look like that shelter does much sheltering, though.

This is a nice theme post, Safe Leif...not that I'm surprised. I also envy you your public transportation system. We don't even have rent-a-bikes here!

I like how you caught them waiting...AND the bus that they were waiting for!

Looks like they don't have to wait much longer.

We don`t have "park and rides", but the idea is good!!
Waiting is something I am NOT good at. Your photo shows what it is like for soooooooo many of us, twice (if not more) every day!

I'd like to see more 'park and ride' sites in Metro Manila! Our traffic can get absolutely horrendous!

Looks a bit of a windy spot to wait in.

Leif, don't know how I missed you yesterday - apologies. I love the way you've captured everyone as they finally see the bus! We all know that feeling, wait wait wait and finally it arrives.

We desperately need some of these "Park & Ride" places here! A very good and inspiring choice.

We don't have park and ride places, but it sounds like a very good idea.
Unusual bus stop with those wavy black lines.
