Maguire for Mayor

On Monday evening, November 2, current Mayor Mike Maguire and the Eagan council members held a 2010 pre-election reception at Al Baker's Restaurant. Former Mayors Egan and Geagan, many friends and other supporters joined to show their support for the re-election efforts of Mayor Maguire. Tuesday is election day across the entire United States.

Good luck to Mayor Maguire! How happens that in a place called Eagan you had a Mayor Egan and Mayor Geagan? Did you elect them for the names?

same question as VP: Egan and Geagan in Eagan... According to this kind of name rule, your mayor's name should be Magueagan, or something similar. We're living in a weird and wonderful world (www)

I was just going to ask what the Poet said.

Hee! Funny comment VP. By that logic, I guess Mayor McGuire will not make it. Who else is in the running??

So who won, already? As for VP's comment, I would hope that by now he would realize there is no rhyme nor reason in Eagan. There is, though, a Hagen. If he spelled it Heagen, it would rhyme with Eagan. But whatever would the world do with a Heathen ... oops, I mean Heagen in Eagan?

God Bless you Mayor Maguire! May you continue being a good Mayor to Eagan if ever you win. National Elections for the Philippines will also be held on May. At last! after 9 long years, there will be a new President of the RP! Nice photo Leif!
