Columbus Day snow?!!

As I drove to work at 8 AM yesterday, I passed these snowy, beautiful trees. But it's not January yet! When I left our house, our 6 year old was already outside playing in the new snow - a true Minnesotan!

It's so pretty and I'm jealous! It was 91 degrees here yesterday. We are supposed to get some relief from the heat this weekend.

The swiss mountains and the mountains of the principality of Liechtenstein are snow covered since yesterday too.

Yikes! But then again I will always go for a early morning photo shoot when the first snow comes.

As a matter of fact I saw the first snow this morning as well. Not much though, it never even managed to cover the ground.

Incredible! Here in Italy the weather is still almost summer!

Makes everything much nicer, even Eagan... Haven't seen a snowfall in many years! And my wife, who spend most of her life in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and India actually never saw any snowfall! We will change this very shortly, hopefully.

Great photo.

Excellent, Safe Leif. Me wonders, however, whether you'll find the snow quite as attractive come, say, February...heh, heh.

But as the Norse gods always say, "It will melt away some day!"

It snowed in Romania too yesterday, but in the northern part (I'm in the south). The temperature dropped from 68 Fahrenheit one day to snowing the next day. Crazy weather, really.

I see that you are quite up north, but still surprised to have snow in mid October. Anyway, your photograph is beautiful. Enjoy the snow and many thanks for your visits and kind comments! Cheers!
