The Velvet Tones

The Velvet Tones, a local senior choir of 70 voices from Dakota County, was started 13 years ago. They practice weekly on Wednesday mornings from September through May and perform in various venues. I heard, watched and photographed them performing at last week's Eagan Market Fest.

  8. I can imagine how good these folks are! But you didn't mention the type of music they do...I'll bet some smooth jazz, ala Mel Torme, right?
