Photo safari

I met four other guys earlier this week for a fun "photo safari" down near Vermillion and Hastings, Minnesota. It was a 35 minute drive south of EAGAN through farm land and countryside to the "Little Log House Pioneer Village." I was quite "out-camera-ed" by those guys but it was fun and they give me some good photo tips. Some more snaps coming up later from the adventure.

  1. That is one of the strangest signboard-contraptions I have ever seen! Quite charming too. I like it! :D

  3. Omigod! You went photographing with that bunch of photogs from Minneapolis? Sheesh! You've got guts, my friend! These guys are all clones of Ansel Adams!

Still...I'll look forward to your pictures. And I ain't colorblind! I just don't see so good. By the way, why is the sky purple in this photo?

  4. To be out-camera-ed and getting nice photos anyway is a quite satisfying.

  9. Nice sign. I've seen many online invitations for photo walks in my city but I've never joined one. Maybe next time.

  11. Oh, that sounds like great fun! I've been invited to a few but haven't made one yet; perhaps I'm just intimidated?! We need to schedule our coffee date, at least. Let me know..after next week-end.
