Homecoming Queen & her friends

Eastview High School, located in Apple Valley just south of Eagan, celebrated its "Homecoming" this past weekend. Our beautiful neighbor girl, Barbie, in the black striped dress, was crowned as the "Homecoming Queen." Friday night was the football game and Saturday night was the semi-formal dance. Barbie and many of her classmates posed for a pre-dinner photo at Jensen Lake. Almost 15 couples gathered but I preferred this smaller group photo.

Hello Mr. Leif! I really like this photo! They all look so sweet! Reminds me of my Prom days not so long ago. Your blog is really cool with those photos from Eagan!

By the way, thanks so much for your greeting! It was a very long absence I have had and it feels really good to read some comments! And yours was the first one since I came back! God Bless you and More power!

Very nice shot, Safe Leif. They look like a fine group of young people.

I can't even remember my high school much less graduation...oh, maybe it was Minnehaha Academy? Yes, I think so. Did we have cars back then? Hmmm...

They all look so nice and so young.
Lovely photo and a nice memory of a special DAY.
I hope they read, learn, keep contact with their friends, and make sure they fill their lives with lots of good things.

A lovely bunch. They couldn't quite agree on where to look but we had the same problem when the government ministers were assembled for a group portrait. Former PM Persson (who rarely missed an opportunity to command) instructed his team on what specific photographer to focus!

So fresh all of them! Like a bunch of flowers they are!
Your photo gave me a big smile and a remind of how beautiful life is!
Thanks!

How very nice! Sometimes I wish we had something like this in Europe, and I don't mean the debs in Paris or London.

Great tradition for kids that age (or should I say young adults?). Surprised at your neighbours name though. I didn't realise anyone but the doll took that name. She should look for a boyfriend named Ken and they'll be famous ;)
