Ticket to Brasil

A Minneapolis/St. Paul based Brazilian jazz group entertained us on July 26, a beautiful Sunday evening at Caponi Art Park's "Theater in the Woods" amphitheater. The group, "Ticket to Brasil," is a Bossa Nova, Samba and Brazilian Jazz ensemble.

Surrounded by green forest, many people and a few dogs listened to the music on blankets, folding chairs or camping chairs.

c'est super la musique brésilienne, cela met une très bonne ambiance. En plus, un concert en pleine nature.
it is great Brazilian music, it puts a very good ambience. On top of that, a concert in the heart of the countryside.

Looks like a lot of fun! I do like that kind of music. Of course, being in Eagan, didn't the mosquitoes pick you up and carry you away!

In a forest? what a unique show!
I take an attention to their instruments, look like they mix traditional and modern music, no?

I would really have liked their show. I quite like Latin music, mostly I get to hear it on disc and it is not the same.

One of the best things about summer is seeing live music in an outdoor setting. Looks like a great setting for this!

Summer is great for live music in the parks, we are getting famous for it here in South Shields too!

Hi Leif!
Sorry for the long absence! But don’t you think it was a great vacation; some very busy weeks and just a few days off... ;)
I can imagine that the dogs had a lot of fun... ;))

Meanwhile Blogtrotter is still turning around Iceland, now in Waterland... Enjoy and have a fabulous week!
