Sitting next to history

Idling at the stoplight, I whipped out my camera and snapped a photo of this beautifully restored antique automobile. It was a gleaming, green Chevrolet truck.

It must be in good operating order to be out on the streets. If it were mine, I'd drive it everywhere after I painted it red!

«Louis» isn't as up on Chevrolets as he is Packards or Studebakers, but he thinks this is a '53. The wide rear window was an option.

Wouldn't this be fun to drive around? Neat.

Don't you just love old cars and trucks? They were truly built to last. Nice capture.

I'm glad you were quick to the draw! This is a beautiful, and beautifully-restored, truck. I like its rounded edges so much better than any new truck I've see today.
